It has been a B-U-S-Y week and will be an even busier weekend!  Our flyball team is hosting a weekend tournament at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  It's also Henry's first official tournament!  Come check it out and cheer us on!

So not much time to share but I had to post this video of a VERY pregnant hairless guinea pig.  Oh my...I thought it was awesome.  The movement made me squirm and the purr's were fantastic!  ...from a facebook friend in the Netherlands.

Wonderful evening with friends and bully kids, Monty and Bogart.  The boys are growing up to be so handsome.  They wish their other brothers and sister could have been there.  Maybe next time!

Vitamins Are Good For You!

Well, that would be USUALLY!  But not when you eat two bottles worth!  That's right two bottles, nearly 120 tablets.  I guess they don't make them with bully-proof caps.

That's what I found upon my arrival home from work.  Two EMPTY bottles of Pet Tab vitamins.  What!  Otto must have been kept busy for sometime with those!  First thought...omg, is it toxic to eat so many? So after a quick call to the vet, we got out the hydrogen peroxide, syringed three tablespoons to the back of his throat and then waited.  It didn't take too long and we had vomit success.  Yay, nice, huh!  :P

Did you know excessive Iron and Vitamin A can damage the liver.  I think we're in the clear but goodness!

Henry, High Five!

Lots of kudos my way!  I earned my Rally Novice obedience title this weekend. Not sure why the big deal...I am a smart boy and sits, downs, heels, etc. are pretty darn easy if I do say so myself.  It was pretty fun, but my favorite night last week was flyball night. Oh yea! Just thinking about it gets me all jazzed up. Oh how I love it!! I guess I made Momma Mary proud by running a consistent 4.6.  Again, not a big deal....I always run fast when there's hurdles and a ball involved. Drive, yup I got it! Stay tuned, I'll be running an official race soon.

Girls Weekend!

Bee-auty!

Beauty defined:

4 : a brilliant, extreme, or egregious example or instance 

I love #1!  This describes our little Bee for sure.  She has so many qualites that delight us, and she is a true champion in mind and spirit.  Her personality brightens every day!  When she was a puppy I named her Marby's Don't Worry BEE Happy.  Wow, little did I know how aptly named she was.  Bee, though being bounced around from home to home, is happy happy happy!  It's contagious when you are with her!

An update on her progress.  She's has had a her palate shortened and saccules removed along with her cherry eye repaired.  BIG improvement for her!!!  And, she has gained two pounds in two weeks!  The supplements have given her coat a wonderful shine and it feels terrific.  The two pounds, while not much, has been noticeable to me.  Eat Bee eat!  I can't say I've met many other bulldogs that don't just live for food.  Not Bee, she'll take loving before food any day!


Thanks for all the well wishes!  The right home has not come along yet, although, there's been interest.  I am just wanting to be very careful and perhaps someday that right family will appear. In the meantime, we are enjoying every minute with her.

Summers and "Up North"

We, Minnesotans, have a fondness for lakes and cabins.  Afterall, we live in the land of 10,000 lakes. :)  So in the summer, those who are lucky head "UP NORTH."  Monty was one of those lucky boys!  This sooooo makes me want to get all the bullies out there for a good swim.  Be careful little boy, don't go near the water without that life jacket!
